Privacy and analytics
Updated August 17, 2026
Causalis uses privacy-conscious measurement to understand how visitors find the site and which articles are useful. Google Analytics remains off unless you choose to accept analytics.
What is collected after you accept
Google Analytics may record page views, general device and browser information, approximate location, traffic source, campaign parameters, scroll activity, outbound links, and selections of articles or navigation. Causalis does not send names, email addresses, form messages, article text, customer evidence, or product data through this blog integration.
How your choice is stored
The non-identifying cookie causalis_analytics_consent remembers
whether you accepted or declined. It is available to
www.causalis.io and blogs.causalis.io, expires after
180 days, and exists only to keep your privacy choice consistent. If your
browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, analytics stays off.
Google Analytics settings
Causalis disables advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google Signals for this integration. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy practices.
Change your choice
You can review or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics collection on this site and removes Google Analytics cookies that are available to it.
